City Cultural and Entertainment Information >>
We particularly recommend a visit to The Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art and the Side Gallery (documentary photography), to landmarks Graingier Market and Castle Keep, and a ballad in the Ouseburn Valley, the Quayside and Jesmond Dene.
Furthermore, the coast towns of Tynemouth, Cullercoats, North Shields and South Shields are 20-25 minutes away by metro and offer nice short seaside trips (and the best fish&chips of the area).
And on Monday 12th evening, Newcastle United – QPR game in the Premier League Championship came to a draw.
